The white connector in the first photo looks like the 1-wire low coolant level sensor, it should go straight forward towards the front of thermostat housing. The wire on the low coolant level sensor tends to break easily, BTW.
The other connector looks like it is supposed to connect to a fan relay. There are only 3 relays visible in the photo, there should be 4. |

1. your correct.
2. Wonder why I am missing one? I have never touched that. The previous owner kept the car stock and had a Mazda reman put in by a Mazda dealer. I had the front engine cover / seal replaced by Rotary Performance. Wonder if they did it--why and if its no bueno why they didn't tell me about it. Thanks for your insight.

i was told that a lot of guys have a jumpered relay - it turns both fans on at the same time. any one else able to confirm or deny?
