Thank you everyone

I wanted to extend a huge thank you to everyone who offered their tools/help/garages/spare motors this weekend. I did make it home, albeit on a u-haul dolley and driving a Ford Econoline. The search starts tomorrow for parts.

Thanks again

-Jim

Mark-
I have a new (junkyard) engine sitting in my garage. 138k miles on it, and the clutch has lots of meat left on it.. all 6 apex seals are in tact, and after spraying some fogging oil into the exhaust ports, it sounds as if it's building good compression. I also am going to be getting a new spindle either this weekend or next from the same yard I got the engine from.

Since it is a junkyard motor, your only real potential issue will be the coolant seals. If you find the motor blowing clouds of white smoke, grab a bottle of Alumaseal and you should be fine.

Will you have the car ready in time?
