Decided I wanted more room than the stock shape would allow (supercharger inlet is directly below stock throttle body), so I decided to cut some more off and make the plenum volume larger, while still shortening everything up.
So I chopped off everything but the short runners that connect to the LIM. Threw away this: ![]() Ended up with this: ![]() Took a 12" long piece of 3" pipe and cut a little less than 1/2 of a side out. Then I cut some holes so that I could mate it to the remaining piece of the UIM: Pipe with holes: ![]() After a lot of grinding it will mate to this: ![]() ![]() ![]() After lots of grinding and filing: ![]() ![]() Pretty sweet fit! ![]() ![]() |
