And I think people should be responsible enough to go over their own cars before attempting to tame the Dragon.

Brakes: 75% left on pads, fluid clean, no cracks in hoses or leaks.
Tires: New (less than 100 miles prior to DGRR)
Tune Up: New plugs the day before, oil change, wires replaced last fall
Suspension: Bone stock, alignment perfect, no broken sway links or rotted bushings.

All that took was 10 minutes while the car was in the air for changing the oil.
You're smart about it though... A lot of people aren't.

Did you check your lug nuts?

Absolutely! Put the wheels on Monday night, drove it to work Tuesday, and re-torqued the wheels on Wednesday night.

I do plan on updating the suspension before DGRR 2K9. Stock wasn't cutting it. Not when I was busting my ass trying to keep up with fikren's RX-8 and the whole time a new Civic SI was on my ass.

I feel ya on the stock suspension. It's just not cutting it, and mine is 22 years old.
