$40-$85 with shipping. This us what an experienced JDM importer of Rx7 parts told me on the other form. I think reasonable price range considering the rarity of the part.

If they are going to offer you a price like that, I'd highly suggest you jump on it.
The past few that were listed on Yahoo Japan Auctions - you can check them out yourself - have been over JPN Y10,000. XE.COM puts the Yen / $ exchange at 0.90. A few months ago, it was under 0.80. I've seen several listed at JPN Y10,000 to JPN Y12,000. Converted over to US $, that's easily over US $100. This does not include shipping or any other fees... If you go through a 3rd party buyer, then you have to pay their service fees. If you don't have someone in Japan who can take care of the transaction, there are several 3rd party buyer services available. Buyee.COM just started to advertise on YJA. I use Bidschoice.COM myself. You can check their fee scheduled listed on their websites. I can't see you getting one for under US$100 unless you're extremely lucky. The sellers on YJA realize these things are worth good money now. FC Infini models are drying up - there hasn't been one made for over 20 years now. I'm waiting for some wanker to make fakes soon... -Ted |
