Well yeah, guess I'm not the first norwegian on this forum, (after reading B.G's thread)
![]() I'm 16 years old, going to be 17 this May. Live just outside Trondheim. I don't have a car yet, but I'm saving money... Yeah, so, I fell in love with Mazda when I was 13 years old, when I saw "Fast and the Furious", where Dom's car is a FD. The sound and the shape of the car just, it felt so right! In every possible way, it was my dream car. I started looking into this rotary wankel engine, which cars who had it, how it had developed over years, which brands etc. even bought a book about its history. And to gather more information about it, I've come here ![]() Now, just so I've said it, the Rx-7 FD, is not my favourite Wankel roadcar anymore. The Mazda Eunos Cosmo 20B, oh god the luxury! ![]() But, when it comes down to it, 1975-77 Mazda Rx-4 Coupe, that's my dream car. With a 4 rotor, ofc ![]() Haha, alot of dreaming going on! See ya ![]() |

I guess i'll say welcome to you as well then
![]() I was actually driven home from Gatebil (car event) in a 20B Cosmo a few years back.. Insane feeling. It truly is, as the owner called it, "a cruiser". Feels insanely smooth yet pulls like crazy. Amazing car, in some technological ways maybe almost 10 years ahead of it's time! But I have to say the FD is, and most likely always will be my true Rotary favorite. Not sure where exactly i "discovered" it, but from the day I first saw one I had the same feeling, just felt right. Just keep dreaming! I can't believe my dream has just come true, felt so far away some times, then suddenly it happened ![]() |
