And this is why cleaning is so important. The amount of carbon buildup and coolant/grime covered this up pretty well:
 This is the top of the rear housing. Bottom looks equally bad. The front rotor housing also has flaking, but not to this extent. SOOOO... long story short. Yea, need some housings... |
