Or if you see a tire that needs air and it the tire blows causing the car to spin, and takes out some one enjoying the scenery, how would you feel? Yes they should be responsible for their own car, but I think as a fellow enthusiast, friend and fellow motorist you HAVE to say something, what do you have to lose?

If you just happen to be missing a lug nut or sometime during your trip your tire pressure changes due to WHATEVER is totally different than leaving home to drive 600 miles to DGRR without checking your tire pressure, the condition of your tires, checking your brakes, etc. AND if you're dying to go to DGRR despite the fact that your car needs servicing, the least you can do is park it to keep from endangering others. It's not fair to put anyone in danger or even damage anyone's car when an accident is due to negligence. And as far as inspections go... it's up to the individual owner to make sure their car is in decent condition. A person who's minimally responsible would stay off the Dragon if there's anything visibly wrong with their car.... and if they weren't sure, they'd ask someone who can check it out for them. I do think if anyone sees a potential hazzard, you should say something. Hopefully anyone who poses a potential hazzard to others will be considerate.
