Middle Tennessee Caravan to DGRR 2014 info thread

It is almost that time of year again!

Date: Thursday, April 24th, 2014
Time: Noon (CST)
Place: Shell Station at Exit 89 and I-24.

The Middle Tennessee Caravan has not changed much in the last few years, and this year is no exception. Most of us veterans know the drill, but here is the info for anyone wanting to join us, or who have never been.

The meeting spot is at the large Shell station, on the south side of the exit 89, off I-24.

We try to leave at noon (CST), or close enough to it. This means you should arrive BEFORE noon if possible!!! I like to get there early, top off with fuel, and get some snacks.

If you are running late, no worries. We stop along the route ALOT. Some of us have small bladders, and drink too much coffee. It takes about 4 hours to get there, right before it starts to get dark, and we lose an hour on the way.

If anyone has any suggestions, or would like to change the time/meeting place/etc. feel free to post here.

Can't wait!!! The caravan is always one of the best starts to an awesome weekend.

I plan on leaving out Thursday after work about 5..I may be able to cut out of works little early. I'll be pulling my enclosed trailer so it'll be tough to keep up with y'all. If not I'll see y'all at Nantahala.

DJ please update to say Thursday the 24th at Noon.

The 8 will be there, and if all goes well this weekend, a freakin stock silver bumper! woot!

Updated, but its the 24th, not the 17th....
