If that's the case (and you don't plan on staying at the village), get your hotel reservations in now. I just set up mine because all the hotels in bryson city (sans one, the Microtel) are already at 120-130$ a night. I don't know how honest some of those travel sites are when they say "one left" or "X people have booked in 48 hours" but they act as though another event is going on that weekend.
