Looks like DGRR 2009 is ON!!! - Page 10

I would love to go to DGRR, but I dont know about the reservations. I could just sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag if anyone has some spare room, otherwise, I guess I can camp out?

Gas is gonna be tight coming all the way down there, and I'm only a senior in H.S.

I went to the keys right after the Dragon last year for a weekend, then back to Miami to fly to Amsterdam for 4-20

Sounds like the plan is on again. So, down for another trip down there. Ha and my name is Ian so I was like, wait, whut? but ya, Im down!!

ok its the 3rd, glad I didnt hold my breath. SPILL IT! i was up on the dragon this past weekend, was slow up cause of bikers, but nice down.. went all the way to NC side and back.

Guys... I hate to say this but I'm still working on the details..

as most of you know, things are different now then last event..

gas is more expensive and hence some of these places are being difficult.... Nantahala Village was super cool to us last time but now, they are being difficult and changed their general manager and their owner Lucy is being difficult....

Now I'm talking with Fontana Village as their management has changed and they really want us to come... I'm working out few details to this.... I think in some ways, Fontana is better as gas is more likely to go back up by the time we hit DGRR 2009... I'll make my decision by End of OCT!

Wow , just looking at the Fontana website , their accommodations are WAY more expensive than Nantahala Village , for the same type of cabins

Maybe we'll have better conversations with Nantahala after BOTD this month. Face to face convo's are always more telling. We'll see if they like rotarheads or maybe they just want to lose car clubs all together.

Actually Fontana can be cheaper, if they give the discounts they did previously.

Also it is so close to the Dragon, but the cabins aren't as nice. Not that they are bad or anything. I felt like I couldn't touch anything at the cabin this year. It was super nice, and apparently owned by an individual, and not Nathalla.

Wherever Phil!! I don't care, I'll be there.
