That is good to know. But is the housing being nickel really worth the extra money compared to a good set of 93 turbos? Either way, I definately see a set of BNRs going on my car sometime in the future...

No its not worth the money. When I build the 3's, I radius all the sharp corners that are proned to cracking. If the 99's are leaking or have problems, then they would be a great core to use for the conversion.

Great info! One thing im wondering is if its a good idea to cyro the turbine housing to make it stronger to stop cracking? Also, If the housing is cracked should that not be used for the upgrade? Thanks!
