*waves* Hello! I'm Howru at both the RX7Club (joined Dec2005) and Nopistons (joined Mar2007) forums, though I rarely post. I blame that on excessive use of the search button.

I had owned 2 FC's in total. My first was an S4 N/A Sport (or a base w/ 5 lug swap?) that I drove for a year until the upper radiator hose exploded. I later discovered had a cracked coolant seal (and was most likely the reason why the PO had a bracket to keep the clutch fan at the engine RPM). It sat for a while until I got my second FC, an S4 GXL with a tranny stuck in 1st, 2nd, and R, which was when I parted it out. I swap the other tranny in and boom, fun time!

A year after I got the GXL, I blow the coolant seal, only this time I rebuilt it with everything I saved from my first one. It took me a year, working on weekends and breaks, but now I've put ~7k on the rebuild. I'm planning on taking the original core from the GXL and the other engine pieces lying around and street porting them, but for now it's limited to the search button (damn CA emissions

Well, I'll most likely go back to lurking and hunting around the classified sections.
