I wouldn't do it on an FD, but still have always thought 2.3l Turbo Ford powered FC would be neat and Granny's already has the mount kit available. Bulletproof engine, takes crazy amounts of boost on stock short block........Only down side is the weight.

Stock blocks/cranks are fine, but pistons and rods are junk. Crack-free heads are drying up. A fully-dressed 2.3T also weighs as much as a 302 (which means it's MORE then an LS1). Good motors, but the market has come and gone on them. You'd have better luck building 12A's or nailhead Buick's honestly...
