Towing with a repu is no problem. It is the stopping you have to worry about. We have used a tow dolly on a repu several time and for long hauls 8 hours one way. We also have had a 18ft flat bed trailer on a repu with a 1st gen rx7 on it. Alot of the repu's had between a 4:10 to 4:62 rear end. If you had a tow dolly with bakes on it and a brake controller on the repu I would say very easy. Tow Dolly with no brakes just remember to keep a margin of distance for that emergency stopping. I know of a company that is trying to develop a kit for the turbo II brake caliper to fit on to a repu. That would help alot.
