Do these account for tension, or just compression?

They don't transmit very much vibration if that is what you are asking. They are bolt-through but I have a poly disk under the subframe to reduce vibration further. Yes they are stiffer than stock but much smoother than some other types of mounts.

what about a set of pucks for the first gen guys?
