Are you sure it's not brake fluid? Had a leaking bleeder screw that deposited a lot of fluid where your red mark is. It looked alot like oil until I tracked down the source.

BTW, I believe that is the DTSS bushing position adjacent to your red mark.

It's definitely grease, and a fairly good deal of it. I'll probably wind up pulling the whole assembly apart on a weekend or paying someone else to track it down if time becomes an issue. I've got a used axle already as well as the rear wheel bearings and seals if I need them. I was just hoping someone might have an easy answer I guess.
