new car new setup

The 3 or 4 comment was what i was looking for. I am going to run stock boost for now and would like to eventually down the road run more. I just want a safe reliable setup for my new hour commute each way. Gas mileage is an issue but it is mostly highway. I already have the housings. I guess im just confused if i wanna stock port and run 550's or upgrade and port and how mileage will be effected in a 2 hour a day drive.
