I've never had issues with my OEM covers. Decent used ones are still available. AFAIK so are new ones. So I would buy them only if...
A. They aren't rediculously expensive...at least close in price to MAZDA new. Given the low volumn, that might be tough. AND B. There was some tasteful but effective way to vent them. Hard to imagine, and it might be self-contradictory but there you go.
