I hear ya...
The Tokico HP's are a great bang-for-the-buck upgrade. The GR-2's are stock replacements. The Tokico's definitely have an edge in terms of performance. Keep that in mind... Another option is to check the For Sale sections for deals on good, used parts. Having the shocks and springs assemble will save you some time and labor. I know shocks can sometimes be a gamble, but if you stick with sellers with good reputations (and good background on the shocks - i.e. low mileage), then you should be fine. You might want to see if someone local can work out a deal? Maybe swap some parts or labor? -Ted |
