A laptop would work a lot better for tuning, it is difficult to tune on the fly with a desktop.

With the Rtek, all the ECU tuning is done via a Palm device. The laptop/desktop is only needed to load SW onto the palm, backup files from it (maps, logs, etc.), and with the SW they provide for the PC, you can display & read the logs captured there instead of the palm device.

Sounds great...I had to but off ordering the rtek till next paycheck cause I fried my sub amplifie. That gives me more time to find a pda. I found a great deal on a tungstun t3.
