Are the series 4 13B turbo motors as the naturally aspirates series 4/5 motrors the same except for compressed rotors? can i chuck in N/A 13b rotors in a 13b turbo engine and all will be fine? ill be losing the turbo and periperal porting. ill also use the 13b turbo manifold to get EFI. regards David Robertson Japan 899-4332 kagoshima ken kirishima shi kokubu chuou 1 choume 12-11-1 デイビッドロバートソン 899-4332鹿児島県霧島市国分中央1丁目 12-11-1 my car: www.kagoshimaenglish.com/rx4.htm |

You can still run boost on all of these, just get your tune right. As far as the rotor specs I believe it goes like this.
13B rotor comparison: 1974-1978 / 9.2:1 @ 11.58 lbs 1984-1985 / 9.4:1 @ 11.58 lbs 1986-1988 NA / 9.4: @ 10.04 lbs 1987-1988 Turbo / 8.5:1 @ 10.04 lbs 1989-1992 NA / 9.7:1 @ 9.54 lbs 1989-1992 Turbo / 9.0:1 @ 9.54 lbs 1993-up Turbo / 9.0: @ 9.54 lbs Renesis 2004-up / 10.0:1 @ 9.30 lbs

Otherwise, make sure that your entire rotating assembly is from the same series at a minimum.

Also whatever series and style(turbo or N/A) you have to run the appropriate counterweights and front rotating assemblies that came with that series.
