hi fellow rotor heads new member
Well my names Juan, I live in Elkton, MD . I've been looking into rotary powered cars for about a year and a half, mostly FC's I doubt that I'll fit in an FB and FD's are out of my price range right now. I bought my FC this year 3/7/13 from some "kid" in western MD (he looked more like a honda owner than anything) in poor shape non running with all sorts of stuff missing on in. Since then I've been doing more research planning out what I want from it from looks to performance and have been buying parts for my turbo 2 swap and keeping an eye out for other non performance parts. I hope to have the car running by next summer followed by suspension, interior and lastly body work.
The car is a red 91 n/a base, It has leather interior typical driver seat all chewed up, 5 speed, open diff with the interior looking decent no cracks on the dash . The car is rough but seems unmolested with only ricer steel mesh crap from the early 2k's that I removed. Motor was supposedly rebuilt by previous owner before the ''kid'' got possession of it, of course it was caked up in trans fluid...... but I'm going T2 soo its perfect! I hope to meet great people and also contribute to the forum. I cant wait to set sail in putting IT ( don't have a name for her yet) back together and start a thread. |

Welcome. The series 5 FC is a great car. Glad to hear you will be saving it and keeping it tasteful. Quite a bit of information out here to help you along with your project. When you get a chance we'd love to see some pictures.

Hi Juan, welcome to RCC! Good to see another local onboard, we've met a few weeks ago, I'm Pete with the black '89T2. You'll find this forum is much more mature and people much more knowlegable than the big forum. Looking forward to the build thread!
