Problem w/ Parking lamps
The harness going to the light switch has one burned wire along with a burned pin in the switch. Is it the harness or the switch that is causing this problem? I think its a bad connection thats causing this but not completly sure. Ive had this problem before on my other 2nd gen so this must be common problem. There are other threads on this but no updates on what the problem was and how it was fixed, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Replace the harness and switch, and relay your headlights.
I've never had these headlight issues, i guess im just lucky.

I replaced the H/L switch and so far everything is working fine, I would have replaced the harness too but didnt have an extra one laying around. Is the relay necessary? The head lights work fine, its just the driving lights im worried about.

I was given a harness to try, so far so good. The culprit must have just been a bad connection between the two.

When mine did that, I just cleaned the connection and stuck it back together. somewhat melted, but it works.
