'Shift up' light always on
So when I was fiddling around with my new FC, I noticed that the 'shift up' light in the tach comes on and stays on whenever you turn the key to 'on'. In any gear (or neutral), and with the clutch in our out, it's always on. I've heard of people having it come on in 5th due to a bad 5th gear switch, but never in any other gear. I haven't been able to drive the car yet (blown

Im pretty sure as long as the engine is not running it stays on, ill check for you in the morning though.

Mine always was on until the engine started in my '86, but not in the '90

The car im driving now is an 86, its off unless im driving and it tells me to shift. Hmm I wonder why there is so much variation on this?

Probably just one of those weird electrical things that just happens. On my other FC, the low fuel light comes on if I pull up the e-brake

It's probably a ground issue. Check the wiring diagram to see if it's connected to a certain ground.
That's a good thing. They're not really useful if you drive with any common sense.
