O2 (nb) use?
i'm sitting here trying to remember why our cars need the nb sensor. I have an rtek 2.1 and am planning on data logging the wb for when i tune it. is there any real reason for using the simulated nb from the wb to hook up to the rtek? what would happen if i didn't run a signal to the nb on the rtek?

Likely it just own't operate in closed loop mode.
Really, on anything you can tune up - there's not much of a need for closed loop unless you're just lazy. Should be able to tune for nice ratios for cruising in open loop. |

So the computer isn't automatically going to richen the fuel mixture because the NB isn't there? Alright. Sounds like I don't need an Op-Amp or a switch. Sweet.

Well honestly not 100% sure on what the Rtek would do, but likely its use of closed loop is no more in depth then the stock ECU. So by losing the 02 sensor you're only going to lose the closed loop function - which is only going to be on in light cruising anyway. And since you can tune out those areas in the Rtek, you should be able to make them as smooth and fuel efficient (if not more so) then what the closed loop will do anyways.

/\ I would contact Digital Tuning Inc just to be sure... I had some issues with my RTEK and they helped me sort it out, really good customer service.
