i don't have a location... I live in apartments that don't like a trail of red wet sanding residue on the pavement... (you can ask seth how he knows). a fender will at least tide me over...

I think Chad just offered to paint the Pink Warrior for $200. I'd hold him to that. And there better not be any orange peel at that price!!!!!!!

at this point i'd rather have a worn fender because it would match the rest of the car to a point... and paint when the opportunity arised

Ya, well painting is not hard. It is the prep work that noone wants to do before and in between coats.
Even if it gets painted it will have to be polished (first 6 months) then waxed often and not sure if paul is up to that.

Other than the red 91 at my house I dont know of any either.

OK so bright red red or pink. I say paint that fender on the car and rock on.
YOu might even find a red that is a bit closer to your red.

what's that supposed to mean?

i'm up to the work. i'm up to making my car look better. at the moment (or recent past or future) i don't have much money for extra things, the only person close enough for me to work on it effectively is charles, but I don't WANT to keep asking him to help me with my car as I already feel i'm asking too much as it is with my low oil pressure problem. at least I have the escort and don't HAVE to drive it (first time in 4 years), which is a start...

Meaning all the prep work and detail needed to get it painted. Then to keep it up with good polish and wax. If you have the escort to drive then try and plan to do some paint work this summer/fall. We all get together and spend two days on it we should be able to get it done.
And btw I am 30 mins from I-24 and 96 so I am not far either.
