I'm not sure what I am looking at on the last pic, so I will let that one go.
Cap off the one on the iron, I believe it is coolant related. The one on the filler neck is a PCV vent. What year 12a is that? I can take some pics of both an 84, and a 1979 version when I get home if you need them.
