yep, just cap the one on the iron and vent the one on the filler neck with a vacuum hose to either: bottom of engine bay, oil catch can, back to intake. What ever you prefer.
The wire coming from the oil pan is from the level sensor. Find a white connector in the engine bay near that area, its a 2 pin connector. (note, I know this is on FC's, not sure if it is the same connector on FB's) Repair the wire, hook to said connector. When low on oil an annoying buzzer should go off. Also. The bolt looking thing next to the level sensor is a factory temp sensor I think. An aftermarket temp sensor can bolt right in here.
