that comment reminded me to ask a question.....if anyone reading this has had any adverse chassis problems due to the swap without putting a cage in the car to stiffen it? I know even the gen1 is a pretty stiff chassis, but i love my car and i dont want it to twist the body, granted i am unlikely to ever put anything more than a soft radial on the car so i doubt i will hurt it, but figured i would ask the knowledge base.

and thanks for the comments, its a lot of tedious work as any builders know.
Im building this because its unique, and well...because i can...now just because you CAN do something doesn't mean its a good idea....but I am sticking with it!!!
